Research Experience
  • June 2004-2006: Research Associate, University of Southern 2002 Present: Research Associate, University of Southern California, Division of Dermatology, Retrospective Chart Review Analysis of a subset of young Hispanic patients, followed at the Los Angeles County Dermatology Clinic, with the diagnosis of pemphigus vulgaris.Patient demographics, age of disease onset, presentation of initial disease, and current treatment modalities were analyzed. HLA studies were performed on these patients to detect a difference in this form of pemphigus from that seen in the Ashkenazi Jew population. Future projects include testing a new drug therapy in the management of pemphigus vulgaris.
